Brief: Netflix looks more like a studio

Some of the most valuable real estate in the media sector is entirely conceptual, measured not in land titles but in intellectual property, located nowhere and everywhere.

I am referring to storyworlds, the basic collection of rules, characters, style and visual stuff which underly recurring titles, sequels and franchises. They contain all the important elements of a preformed idea, except the commitment to a specifc narrative.
