In the opening session of this year’s producers’ conference, Screen Forever, Russel Howcroft, Network Ten’s Executive General Manager, sent a message to advertisers that broadcast TV was still the place to find their customers, and that the death of TV is far from a given. While this could be seen as a biased perspective, it is interesting to see how a high-level executive at a major broadcaster asserts relevance in the current landscape.
