Audience data has become catnip for the communications sector. We provide huge quantities of it when we use our credit cards, or sign up to a rewards program. 

Mohit Bhargava, General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Village Cinemas acknowledges that data absolutely is the name of the game. ‘The data is incredibly important when you are aggregating millions of admissions a year in a market like Australia which is fairly mature in the cinema category.
