Melbourne Webfest – classy winners hammer message of change

Freed from the constraints of long form, creativity on the small screen is exploding with web series. Here's another excellent batch.

Attempts to be imaginative in traditional small screen media can lurch around like a baby elephant on roller skates. The dramatic logic of long form shows is so much more constrained and broadcasters are stuck with the need for mass audiences. In some genres the Australian sector still lacks experience so creators are short of useful feedback.
